We each only get about 60 years of adulthood. During that time, you have it within you to build and do and create. To make the world a little better, a little brighter than it would otherwise be without you. Your belief and your attitude control what you will do.
While we are conditioned from childhood to play it safe, to not stand out, to not be too conspicuous, that is exactly what the world needs from you.
You can lend a hand to the single mom with a flat tire. You can create a beautiful dance routine that elevates the spirit of those who see it. You can make a personal connection with someone because we are all starved more of those. You can sing, write, paint, cook, invent or provide stellar customer service.
You can create a stunning business that helps thousands of people live better, freer, fuller lives. In this mass produced, industrialized, system-driven corporatocracy, you can be the balm to soothe the day of another human being. You can give example. You can give faith. You can give hope. And you can do it all over again tomorrow.
So go out and build. Go out boldly, loudly refusing to bend to the will of the machine that wants you to remember your place.
Refuse to settle for simply making a living. Be the beacon that lights the way for thousands to follow. Enrich the world, enrich your tribe and you will enrich yourself.
