Hi! How are you doing? Happy Sunday or at least it’s Sunday where I am right now. If you’re watching the recording, I hope you’re having a great day wherever and whenever it is for you.

I just came in from shoveling snow. We don’t get snow an awful lot here up in the high desert in Idaho but we did today. And since we just can’t have the driveway all slippery, that was the first thing I got to do this morning. Awesome!

Now, even better, I get to talk to you about my network marketing action plan.

The system is built around four key activities that drive your business forward. I got the idea from Marc LaLonde and it’s based on working a cycle of time rather than specifically a day. It’s not a rigid daily checklist— because that doesn’t always work around the rest of our lives. Instead, it’s a flexible network marketing action plan that fits your life. Whether you have five hours a week or fifteen, this plan works because it’s focused on completing tasks in cycles.

Here’s how it works: I’ve got a list of things I need to get done, and I tackle them one at a time. When I finish, I start back at the top. Some weeks, I might complete the cycle twice; other weeks, maybe just once. That’s the beauty of a flexible action plan for network marketing—it adapts to your schedule without sacrificing progress.

Life gets busy, right? But with this network marketing plan, you can work your business in the little pockets of time you have. The trick is to stay consistent. Even if you’re only putting in a couple of hours here and there, sticking to the cycle ensures you’re always moving forward.

What is the CAPE Network Marketing Action Plan?

The network marketing action plan I use is built around four essential activities. These are the tasks that keep your business moving forward and growing steadily.

First up is content creation—because sharing value is where it all starts. Next, there’s audience building, which is all about connecting with the right people. Third, we’ve got prospecting, a proactive step to find new customers and team members. Finally, there’s education, because staying sharp and learning new skills keeps the whole plan running smoothly.

Marc made it easy to remember with a simple acronym: C.A.P.E.—Content, Audience, Prospecting, Education. It’s straightforward, flexible, and a great way to stay on track with your network marketing strategy.

Content Creation: The First Step in Your Network Marketing Action Plan

Let’s start with content creation, the foundation of any good network marketing action plan. For each cycle, you’ll want to produce at least one piece of content. Video is ideal—it’s where most engagement is happening on social media. If writing is more your thing, that’s great too. The key is consistency.

Personally, I’ve been moving toward video first and then supporting that with written. Videos are getting so much better engagement these days. It’s where things are headed, so I figured it’s best to lean into it now rather than later.

Here’s how I break it down:

  1. Create a live video on Facebook—it’s one of the most effective formats.
  2. Design a thumbnail for the video, which you’ll use when uploading to YouTube.
  3. Post the video to your YouTube channel.

Next, take the video and its transcription and upload both to your personal blog. If you were working from a script, you’ll have that, of course. Also, YouTube usually generates a transcription on the fly that you can use and edit. You can also upload the audio to MS Word or you can use an extension with Google Docs to do the same thing. To make it even easier for your audience, you can use a plugin like I do (there’s a button up top) which lets them convert your blog post into a PDF so they can download it and read it whenever they want.

Then, add the video link and thumbnail to your social posting automation sequence. Automating your posts keeps your content working for you even when you’re not online.

Finally, if you’re ready to take things to the next level, create a Facebook ad around your video. I use ads to deliver my content directly to a Custom Audience’s news feed. It’s a great way to ensure your videos keep reaching the right people.

The second thing on the list is Audience Building. When it comes to growing your business, audience building is a critical part of your network marketing action plan. Facebook is an ideal platform for this because it allows you to connect with people who share your interests and values.

Start by engaging consistently in relevant Facebook groups. These are goldmines for finding your target audience. Don’t just promote—offer value by answering questions, sharing insights, or posting helpful tips.

Next, use your personal profile strategically. Share content that reflects your brand and mission, mixing in business-related posts with personal updates. People want to connect with the person behind the business.

Friend requests are another simple yet effective strategy. Send friend requests to people in your niche or those who interact with your content. Over time, this builds a custom audience of engaged individuals who are more likely to resonate with your offers.

Lastly, consider using Facebook ads to target specific demographics. A well-crafted ad campaign can grow your audience while keeping your content in front of the right eyes.

With consistent effort, Facebook can become a powerful tool in your action plan for network marketing success.

Prospecting is where the rubber meets the road in your network marketing action plan. Sure, if you keep putting content out there, people will eventually reach out, raising their hands and saying, “Hey, I’m interested!” But waiting around isn’t going to pay the bills. You need to take a proactive approach.

Attraction marketing—what I call passive marketing—is great, but it takes time to gain enough momentum to generate consistent leads. That’s why daily prospecting is non-negotiable. It’s about actively engaging with people, building conversations, and creating opportunities to introduce your products or business.

For example, whenever someone interacts with my content or connects with me on Facebook, I start a conversation. It’s as simple as messaging them and asking how I might help. If, during the chat, I spot a way my product or opportunity could solve a problem for them, I’ll say something like, “Hey, I don’t know if this is for you or not, but…” and go from there.

This doesn’t have to be complicated, but it does have to be consistent. Each day, look for ways to connect with new people. Whether it’s through your personal network, Facebook groups, or even ads, the goal is always the same: find new customers and team members.

At the end of the day, this is what drives results. A great action plan for network marketing success is built on regular, meaningful engagement.

Whether it’s improving your mindset, refining your vision, or developing new skills, the goal is to keep growing so you’re better today than you were yesterday.

But education isn’t just about learning for yourself. It’s also a goldmine for content creation. Every time you pick up a new strategy, test it out, and see it work, you’ve got fresh material to share. That’s how this network marketing plan came to be—I learned it, adapted it to my style, and now I’m passing it along to you.

When education becomes part of your daily routine, you’ll never run out of ideas for content to keep your lead-generation system running strong. Think of it as a constant source of fuel for your business.
